Founded by Grand Master Zulfi Ahmed, 10th Dan, and built on nine principles that include honor, integrity, and loyalty. I have trained in the system for 20 years. I hold a 3rd Degree black belt, was awarded the title of Sensei at World Headquarters, and was named Male Instructor of the Year.

Senior Master Hassan Saiyid brought Bushi Ban to Connecticut, opening Seymour in 2001 and Southbury in 2010. Master John Lombardo now directs the schools. I spent eight years here as Head Instructor, and I still teach, sponsor, and send students their way.

An Okinawan weapons art centered on the bo staff, passed from Masami Chinen to Chogi Kishaba to Hanshi Kiyoshi Nishime, Chief Instructor of RBKD USA. I have trained under Hanshi Nishime for 18 years and hold the rank of San Dan (3rd Degree). His school, Nishime Martial Arts, teaches in Cincinnati, Ohio and Florence, Kentucky.
